Accredited business sponsorship.

Accredited sponsor status is a distinct question from being approved as a standard business sponsor. We help employers consider whether it is relevant and what the current requirements would mean for the business.

Accreditation requirements

Accreditation is not something every sponsor can assume is available. The business’s circumstances and sponsorship history need assessment against the applicable Home Affairs criteria.

We discuss the purpose of the proposed application and the evidence needed. Any stated program benefit must be understood in the context of the current rules; accreditation is not a guarantee of an individual visa result.

Continuing sponsor obligations

An accredited sponsor still has sponsor obligations. The review should sit within the wider management of the organisation’s workforce and sponsorship history rather than being treated as a badge separate from the operation.

For an employer sponsoring on an ongoing basis, we can consider this alongside future recruitment, retention and regular sponsorship advice.
